GIMP is bit tough to teach students of 5th standard. Well, just teach
them about brushes, selection and cropping. The basic. Don't go in
detail. The tool named pinta could be a replacement for MS Paint like
tools. I really suggest to introduce GIMP as a digital canvas, than a
photo editor to

the index. If this doesn't solve your problem, try dpkg --configure -a to
