what is the command to get the LOGOFF,SHUTDOWN GUI windows.. I mean I
can click on the Menu panel ,its k. but which command is running
underlying that?? i need to make a short cut that I need to trigger
this GUI window.
any idea?

To trigger the shutdown/Restart/Hibernate/Suspend GUI window, just press *
Ctrl+Alt+Del*
The shell commands for doing things via the terminal, are-
- For Shutdown-
