when i play a music file for the first 3-4 seconds, the audio is not
at all clear. And after that it stabilises. Even the fedora's start up
tone has this problem.
This could be due to Pulseaudio's "glitch-free audio" feature taking up
too much CPU time. I had the same problem and this fix

Is this GNOME or KDE? Anyway, I guess it has something to do with
PulseAudio and your audio driver.
