give it as a zip file.. zip file will be about 60mb.. it will also be
included in addon cd.. the user can install it giving "sudo dpkg -i –
force-depends *.deb".. the reasons for all that is given above.. all
the rest is in apton cd

srihari.. the addon cd would also work like u said. but it doesn't use
any scripts.. it is made as a ubuntu repository cd.. when u insert the
cd, it will automatically get added to repositories and will open the
add or remove programs. from there u can install the software u
want..
