The article you posted is wrong. It is html quoting. We require plaintext
quoting which we can
get if we turn on plain text just above compose textarea.

We all know that cp command doesn't give any feedback on how much of
data is copied. So to see the amount of data copied while copying around
45 GB of data, I used watch.

be traced.
The answer given by them is that you enable BIOS password so that the thief
cannot format.
Not convincing as BIOS passwords can also be broken.
But at least this gives a small defence against theft.
