123.45.7.0/24. So, you need to configure your firewall
to allow clients from this ip range to connect to your server on a
particular port, which i am guessing is 10050.
Does this make sense ?

ple provide on-site warranty ? on-site warranty is a
absolute must!
Also, SSDs are so overrated. It definitely makes the laptop lighter and
reduces the power consumption but its not worth the price. I can't wait
to see them replaced by PRAM/PCM based storage.

Most likely a gnome problem. I am on fedora and I find this package
'gnome-power-manager' which seems to handle all the power related stuff
on gnome session. If you find a similar package, can u try up
rtition and find the entry for PCL, 3 or 4 lines,
in /boot/grub/grub.conf or menu.lst. add that entry to opensuse's
/boot/grub/grub.conf or menu.lst.

I am not sure whether i understand you correctly but if you want to skip
the loader screen and boot default, just set the timeout to 0. AFAIK,
you need a bootloader to boot whichever it

FYI,
$ ps aux | tr -s ' ' , < 1.csv
bash: 1.csv: No such file or directory
$ ls 1.csv
ls: cannot access 1.

I am no MySQL expert but I think you are facing authentication problems.
By default, I have noticed mysql doesn't have any password for root, so
you can try running "mysql -u root" to check if it is
they have on the
website.. And, Since BOSS Linux DVDs are mailed home for free, I was
just wondering if they have a list of places in chennai where one could
collect it.

t it is primarily meant for govt agencies who, IMO, typically
require a local technical support.
Also, for privacy reasons, many people including me might be hesitant to
give postal address. Is there a place where one could get a copy of BOSS
Linux ?

Baskar uses the same subject pattern in his email, a personal message

recreate the swap.

There have been several violations of the forum rules in this thread and
I think the objective of the thread has been lost except for a few
attempts to resuscitate. My humble suggestion is to stop posting to the
thread.

This requires opening your SSH port to the entire world. IMO, its a very
bad idea, unless you have a VM which you don't really care if compromised.

I am new to the list and I was wondering when you guys are meeting up
next. I checked the site but the new event seems to point to the one
that happened on Jul'2010.
