Getting Information on Commands
The "info" is a great utility for getting information about the system.
Here's a quick key on using "info" from the terminal prompt.
$ info
The following is a good starting point:
$ info coreutils

Useful for passwords on the commandline.

Add Password Protection to a file your editing in vim.
When you just want to edit a file and not worry about keys or having
to deal needing extra software on hand.
