ram u can try installing transcode through urpmi if you have a decent
internet connection

urpmi.updatemedia main contrib (I'm not sure.. which package
transcode is on. )
urpmi transcode should get you transcode (it downloads about couple
of MBs or so.)

I need to edit some .mov files. And to send them to someone. Is there
some programme that helps convert .mov files into mpg or wav files.
I heard about something called transcode. ??
Am using Mandrake 10.1 CE. PIII Compaq armada.
