you can make iso images of the CD using readcd command
i thought k3b [the kinda-like nero for linux] software would do all this
for you

Do not have k3b but xcdroast / CDWriter (Gnome front end for cdrecord??)
all demand parameters for making the CD bootable. AND this information

make copies of bootable CD's. Searching the web resulted in more
confusion. First I was able to make some progress when I was able to
make boot CD's from
