Yup, sounds like trouble in the making. You probably have some
corruption in your system. Here's a list of the basic system restore
steps, one of these should help. Just go through the list until the
problem clears up.

Wouldn't be so bad except I get everything twice! I've figured out why

You could try a PRAM reset by holding down Command (the apple button)
Control and P and R at the same time. I had a G4 that wouldnt start up but i
could hear the hard drive spinning and such. The reset usually helped.
