I recently bought a first gen G5 iMac and it doesn¹t have wireless
capability. It will take an Airport Extreme module, but I¹m not sure it it
needs a specific part number.
Snooping about on eBay, it ³looks² like there are different models and I
don¹t want to buy something that won¹t
I can only clarify about the drives:
SATA II, 1.5GBPS, 3.0GBPS, wahtever, It's still SATA, it'll still work.
To be safe, go with a SATA2\II\3.0GBPS drive, it'll be useable if you
upgrade, and if it's able to support it.

I kind of thought that maybe they would be interchangeable, but wanted get
some input from more experienced folk.
Got the airport figured out. I pulled the AE module from my AL Powerbook and
it works just fine.
