It is always amusing to hear/read comments about odd US food offerings
from folks from Great Britain, that paragon of great cuisine. Most
Americans would be freaked out if offered kippers for breakfast,
although I'm sure some might actually enjoy grilled, oily fish with
heads and tails intact. Not
I recently played the new Star Trek 2009 movie on my G4 iMac and I wanted
to know if I can somehow boost the video card. The movie runs smoother than
a freshly shaved face, but not when I run several programs in the
background. I am an expert on macs, but the G4 iMac is a little new to me.
Nope. The GPU is soldered directly to the board. That's one of the
disadvantages to the iMacs. No graphics expandability.

Oh wow, how nice that surely is. I might as well have this machine doomed
for anything graphics intensive, except for photoshop. my iMac G4 recently
became my main machine over my sawtooth because of processing power
superiority and looks, but my sawtooth had a stock ATI Radeon 9800 pro AGP
