I found a emac 1.25Ghz combo drive model, on the nature strip for
free.
It turns on it works.
I wiped the hard drive put a fresh install of os x tiger
the speakers work.
The screen works.
the combo drive doesn't open properly.
specs
PowerPC G4 1.25Ghz
1gb of ram
40gb hard drisk
combo drive
That is a pretty good system, especially with 1 gig of ram installed. I
would see about upgrading it to Leopard since 1 gig is what my eMac has (1
GHz) and it runs nicely.

Those eMacs are hard to kill. They can take up to 2 gigs of RAM and
are rock solid workhorses.
The optical drive gets stuck sometimes. Try this tip:
Have you tried using a paper clip to open the optical drive? Sometimes they
just get stuck, and opening them that way will free it up for good.

I own two emacs.
I still own the Emac 700Mhz with 256mb of ram.
I haven't used my emac 1.25Ghz with 1gb much.
Its Amazing I found a faster emac for free.
