Kevin,
My first question would be, "Did user2 ever receive the vacation message?"
If so, the only way that I was able to exactly replicate the problem as you
stated was to set up a vacation message for myself (user2), **forward my
messages to a non-existent local address named Vacation**, and sen

David,
You probably know this already but it took me forever to figure this
out so I thought I'd post it anyway in case someone else needs to
know.
If you want to alias another user as dbo for the database to avoid the
user_name issue on the database objects you can do the following:

I wouldn't put it that way. You can use anything you want as OHN, as

What is the proper DNS configuration for a situation where you have many

I have set up a host file on my imail machine, pointing scanfrentz.com

Terry,
IMail does what it is supposed to with regards to MX record usage. What is
happening here is the primary MX machine is sending a 421 error which is a
transient error and means try again later. Since there is a response (albeit
an error condition) IMail will re-queue until there is a correc
I would assume then the only method to fix the users reply-to field
would be to manually correct it when adding new users to the primary

Sharyn,
I think Imail gets the real long timeout and instead of going to the
secondary like it should it just re-queues. I have done this myself
on a number of occasions. I don't know if this is a bug in Imail or
not but from a practical standpoint it behaves exactly like one.

Either one will work. Leaving "Localhost" will allow local mail addressed to

Actually, it is not. Klez uses an HELO of a random string of characters,
