Not necessarily... Message Sniffer can do this without killing the
machine. The pattern matching engine can apply tens of thousands of
rules (anchored or not) to a message in a single pass without killing
the CPU... It really depends on the technology used to do the content
scanning.

IMGate is not even "for" Imail, it's for any make/model of mailbox server,
because it's pure SMTP.
IMGate is used in front of mailbox servers running sendmail + whatever,
Lotus, Exchange, etc.

Has anybody experienced problems with long domain name extensions? We are
running IMail Server 6.06 on Windows 2000 with IIS 5.0. We have many mail
servers set up at this time, but we are unable to get a new one with a
".info" extension to work properly. The DNS entry is correct and I can ping

Yes, but most *nix admins can setup/configure pretty quickly. Len is very
responsive to questions and is even available to install for a very
reasonable charge.
I have been using Imgate for over 2 years. It's a marriage made in Silicon
Heaven.
