I have had this problem a few times myself.
We had some spam emails coming in that were somehow malformed, these emails
were sent to an alias

delivered to each person's mailbox it stopped outlook from receiving further

First - What do your logs tell you?Second - check your firewall and/or router between the two - logs again.Third - Local machine Virus Scanner - are you running an "on access" scanner? If so, remove it from scanning the /users directory as well as the web directory.
