I work for the Ottawa Centre EcoDistrict and we recently did an assessment of
all bike parking in downtown Ottawa. I was hoping to upload our data, share it
with our partners, and invite the community to update as needed. I have
attached our data in excel.

This looks cool. One important step is to translate the types of bike
parking in the document to the types that OSM uses. Here is a wiki page
with pictures of each type. For instance, loop and post is probably

If you are not interested in importing the data yourself, I would
suggest posting on the Canadian talk list, ask if there are any local
people that can help out. The data set is not too large, if it makes
sense, it should not be to hard to import it.
