I believe Firefox 3 doesn't have this bug since it's using its own
sqlite3 library.

Yeah... this definitely isn't the above bug. Here's the /tmp/install_log as of
the point when it hangs:

If Solaris says it is loading the 64-bit version, then that means that you have
a 64-bit CPU. The 64-bit kernel would not be able to load if you had only an
i386.

For the completeness of this thread, I am posting a screenshot of OOo 3.0
runningin Solaris 10 (in this particular example, the version of Solaris update
6, or 10/08--but it doesn't matter
Your computer does not have enough memory to run the live CD in GUI mode. You
need a minimum of 768MB memory for that.
OpenSolaris will always attempt to boot in 64-bit mode on processors that
support it. Unless you are having problems that only happen in 64-bit mode, you
should leave it runnin
