Your computer does not have enough memory to run the live CD in GUI mode. You need a minimum of 768MB memory for that. OpenSolaris will always attempt to boot in 64-bit mode on processors that support it. Unless you are having problems that only happen in 64-bit mode, you should leave it runnin
