I have an SB Live Audigy 2 board. I tried the OSS drivers, and they think they're working (osstest audio shows up on the proper channel meters in the mixer), but all I got out of the speakers was a constant low buzz. I uninstalled the OSS drivers and tried the the audio driver provided by Jürge

Thanks Brian, ok, understand that. I fixed for my installation (because I wanted to use b105 - e.g. for crossbow). I created a tar of the b101-bootenvironment /usr/lib/thunderbird and moved that over to the b105 be. That works now. I will wait until 2.0.0.19 is available as ips package later on

i too am having the same problem. my kernel usage spikes after start up and the HD is very active. Could this be a lack of RAM issue? I usually notice the problem once I start up Net Beans 6.5. I run 2008.11 snv_101b on hp nc6000 with only 512M ram. I will be upgrading the RAM to the 2Gb max
