Unediting a commited file

All: I have an issue of unediting a file that has been committed to the repository from the workspace. I tried to execute the following command: cvs unedit Training in CVS.xls But it didn't put the file in unedit mode. It stcuk in edit. I ran update, and queried the file, but to no avail.
