When I grant group level write to the the cvs directories everything seems to work except: cvs checkout: warning: cannot write to history file /aacustom/cvs/CVSROOT/history: Permission denied But now I wonder, granting group level to this file opens us up to removing these files. I'm almost cert

Hi, Recently I noticed this that, If I keep the files locked for long times (I am not sure how long it is - more than a week), the CVS is disabling the lock on it even though I edited that file. Other users can reserve that file without my notice. Please let me know how to overcome it. Thanks, Abh
