Now:
% cvs up -r cvs1-11-1

Hi, Kevin.

Do you have a pointer to information on which commands are affected? We
have used this method for a while on a busy CVS server without e

They have already been shared (not very long ago):

Hi,
people keep suggesting to use -kv keyword substitution with export. I'd
definitly like to use it, but we have some binary files in the repository
which might be corrupted during export -kv (see also

What is the reason that the -k option is

That is *one* aspect. But I fear that -- even if someone did provide a
patch (+ ChangeLog entry + sanity test case + ...) -- there might quite
a good chance that the time was wasted

We have the same effect here but not only with WinCVS. Some
tools I use under Win2k *always* create files with weird
modification dates. So it seems that is not a specific
WinCVS problem.

this command
displays all(?) log entries for files which do not
contain the STATIC_TAG tag... very strange IMHO.
"cvs log -rSTATIC_TAG:STATIC_TAG" did not improve
the situation.
Am I missing something?

need the date, too.
For the record: I have written a small bourne shell script
(see attachment) which operates on a local copy and generates
the list. It may be used/copied/modified freely but without
any warranty.

And make sure that archive,v is not modified via cvs between
