The init command initialises the repository. You then need to create modules within that repository, using the import command. When you use checkout, you check out modules, not the repository. That's why CVSROOT works - it is a module within your repository. > -Original Message- > From

Database Repository

Is there a way/hack/tool where you can use a database as a repository for CVS? It is just an idle thought at the moment, but we are thinking of using CVS as the engine for a CMS. I'm not sure if it could work, or even if it is such a good idea... any experience? Matt Smith [
