Hi,
I have installed CVS server on a Linux box in Canada. In India, we

You're probably trying to load it on Windows 98. As stated in the readme.nt, this
DLL is for NT clients only.

Hi,
ok here it comes. If I do the same as I described in the last mail, but this
time I stop WinCVS and restart it, then it works. Which means, that somehow

Hi,
I did another test, to sort out the mess a little bit. This time just one
user.
First I checked out a file, modified it and checked it in. This works well
and the version is now 1.2 (up from 1.1). Next thing I do is to modify the
file again, and then check it in again. However, that does not w

multiple developers. So there is no experience with branching and merging.
According to the VSS manual branching and merging are possible. I am talkin

since I don't have Tcl I do not have Macros in winCVS. When using cvs from

I am using wincvs with local directory and I am using the cvs2ntslib.dll. In

m? I have searched through the documentation and have not seen
any reference to tagging a branch causing the removal of -kb tags. This problem is
preventing us from being able to reliably switch to using CVS on NT. Any help or

This is needed only for ntserver mode, pserver will work with the standard version.
Also ntserver mode won't work on Win95 clients (Seems to be a Win95 bug).
