Another approach that has been used successfully is to supply some tools that collect state from the CVS/Entries and CVS/Repository files and store them in a separate database as a change list to be applied to an existing baseline. The system works best if there's a manifest collected for the bas

Jerry, Dave     Thanks, based on some things Jerry put in his first e-mail I have discovered a couple of ways to do what I need. It appears that rtag will do the work of labeling and both history and log will do the rest. I will also look at cvszilla as well.   Don -- Don

I know it's hard to believe after you sent one email and then a clarification, but it's not at all clear what you're asking. Actually, if I take it at face value, the question is so trivial I can't understand why you would ask it. > From: Don Weeks [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, Dece

Having some kind of user-selected diff/merge hook built into CVS would go a long way to solving this problem, though. It's been discussed before. --- Forwarded mail from [EMAIL PROTECTED] [ On Wednesday, August 30, 2000 at 11:58:09 (-0400), Gary Smith wrote: ] > Subject: Is this
