Hello Cyrus-Users !
I have problems with a user account :-)
If I do a

Hi,
I built and installed the cyrus IMSP server and I was wondering what do I
have to do to be able to connect to it via SSL. Is there even a way to do
so?
Thanks,
Avi

That is why I called pwcheck "practically useless".
Once a
About once a week our email stops getting delivered. You can still send
email, and you can still read email, but the the sent mail just queues
up and never gets "delivered" to the cyrus mailboxes.
We are using Postfix configured to deliver via LMTP directly to the lmtp

Looks like I am not expressing myself well. My main concern here is:
"Why should I bother running pwcheck?"

I am having a little trouble with pam.
The setup I want is very simple: I don't need shadow access, so I don't
need pwcheck (we use NIS) so I just want PAM to be a gateway to the
normal routines for accessing /etc/passwd.
My current /etc/pam.d/imap is:

Hi,
I've resolved the authentication problem on RedHat 7.1. Having looked at the
latest messages I wanted to share what I've done
1. Compile and build packages provided by Ramino Moranes
http://rmrpms.tripod.com/cyrus-imapd
2. chgrp shadow /usr/cyrus/bin/imapd
3. chgrp shadow /etc/shadow
4. chm
