Migrating existing mailboxes to cyrus imapd

I must migrate existing unix mailboxes (e.g. /var/spool/mail/bill) to a cyrus imapd server. I have access to the filesystem (I'm root) but I don't known user's passwords. What is the right procedure? (User creation is not a problem, my problem is moving the emails) Thx Sherpya

As others have pointed out the virus scanning is best handled by the MTA not your imap server. This allows outgoing mail to be scanned as well which is good when a virus such as sircam gets through (say via a web browser email site) and starts spreading elsewhere. For us the primary condition

I'm using a recent CVS version of cyrus-imapd-2.0.16. From a perl script, I do an APPEND with the \seen flag specified. However, when I subsequently view the mailbox with `mutt', the newly-appended message appears as a new message. Am I doing this wrong, or interpreting something wrong? Here's

The best two I know of are Interscan Viruswall (http://www.trendmicro.com) and Sophos antivirus (http://www.sophos.com) I am using Viruswall on RedHat Linux 7.1. It runs as a daemon listening on port 25, receives mail, and scans it for viruses. Then, it can be configured to either (1)route the

let me rephrase. i want to move existing messages that are in $HOME/nsmail without any user intervention. i used a modified bsd2cyrus to create all the empty subfolders on the cyrus server. i did the drag-n-drop move for myself but there are about 80 or 90 users that need to have there messages
