calling external program

Is there any way to trigger adding message to mailbox and launch external program on such event? My intention is to have "special" IMAP folders and let messages be processes after moving to such folder (either by "hand" or by sieve script). Thanks, ivo

Hi again, I have now switched from courier-imap to cyrus-imap. But I have a strange problem. When I look at the server from Outlook or Kmail I can see Inbox, Sent Items and Drafts. But when I send a mail the clint return an error telling me that it couldn't copy the mail to the Sent Items folder

I would first go in with cyradm and run lm. There's a decent chance that these folders did not get created as a subfolder of your INBOX, but rather as seperate folders. If your lm output from cyradm looks something like this: cyradm> lm user.jonas Sent Items Drafts Then the folders are not sub

Now it works - in /usr/include, I had to delete db.h and the db3 directory. But my problem is not resolved: I still have several imapd and sometimes one or more lmtp processes which never disappear. Olaf
