FWIW, I've experimented with 750k mailboxes on a single system with 8GB
RAM and we
plan to put that number in production in a couple of months here.
Ouch, 750k? How many concurrent accesses?
We currently have 1.6M, 1.2M and 940k mailboxes in 3 boxes with fiber to a
single emc storage, al

So much trouble!
The need is for a system that delivers mail
from exim4 to [EMAIL PROTECTED] where domain
could be any one of a list of v-hosts.
( this would be: user.person not [EMAIL PROTECTED] )
Some users are forwarded through aliases file.
cyrus was working ok until I tweeked

for some reason the default permissions on mailboxes for the admin user
doesn't allow that. Do "sam lrswipcda cyrus user.username"

You need to give your self permission first (yes, a little confusing
since you would seem to own it since you just created it):
setaclmailbox [EMAIL PROTECTED] cyrus "all"

Thanks. It turns out I didn't need to convert from Berkeley, but from
flat. Once I did this the seen state was fixed. Thanks again for the
help.

Hello All,
I migrated data from a 2.0.16 version to the 2.2.12 version
by exporting the data from the old and importing into the new. Everything
seems to work just fine except the seen state. I get the following error when
logging into the mailbox.

I've seen that it can, depending on your berkeley settings, but even for our

Hi!
My Cyrus users are in LDAP - via sasl ldapdb.
Does this work with LDAP-groups too?
Do I have to configure something else?
