option. For some mailbox it automatically creates two mailboxes one
with upper case and one with lower case letter.

Can someone please tell me how to eliminate receiving duplicate mail from
Cyrus. I receive dups when a mail is sent to me and to a dist list at the
same time. How can I tell cyrus that I am the same person on the dist list
and do not send me the duplicate mail? I am using Cyrus 2.1.2.

Unless
the listserv at cmu.edu. As far as
sendmail and as far as cyrus-imapd are concerned, those are two
separate messages, and duplicate suppression does not apply.

in fact it helped me understanding the duplicate mail delivery
stuff.
But my problem stays. I can monitor it again
on
the other maillinglists im subscribed to al well, but i cannot
say that for 100 % because cc is not as usual there as it is on
this list.
If it is not a duplicate mail delivery problem what is it then?
any ideas?
i have sendmail 8.11.0 with the standart mailerfile for cyrus.

many questions from me these days. I hope
not to beginn to go on your nerves.
Today my problem is the following. Mail which is sent to me twice,
example a reply mail from one of you answering me, send
directly to me and a cc to the list which i am subscribed
to, reaches me only
All the stuff about duplicates, and duplicate suppression can be real confusing, and
so let me try and straighten some of it out.
In the sendmail world, duplicate delivery supression means that a single message wont
be delivered multiple times to the same addressee. Thus, if I mail to two
