Our yearbook has Josten's Year Tech and are using PageMaker 6.5 on our PC's
with Windows 2000. We have not had many problems. We just purchased
PageMaker 7.0 but I haven't had the chance to put the upgrade on yet. But
the yearbook staff has had no problems with their pages appearing or

How do I upgrade memory on an application in OS X? I go to the get
info but it won't let me change it. I have tried logging on as
administrator as well. I am sure it's something simple, but I am not
having any luck.

OS X will use as much system memory as it needs or use what's available.
Memory size under get info is just how much that file or folder is taking up
on the hard drive. OS X is so different that OS 9 Apps won't run on OS X
without an emulator Classic.

I found when we use PageMaker 6.5 on XP machines I have had to give my
users power users right. I set up a class such as yearbook in active
directory and list all the students that will be in that class. Give
yearbook power users rights and that should do it. It has helped for
me. Yeartech also
Under help---about Pagemaker, it will give you the version number.
Never really noticed a difference when I've updated them.
Pictures come up gray in both ...File\Place and when you use the
blue Xspot box and picture placer? This is sound rather strange. Has
Josten's tech offered any
