Still looking for some help on a batch file or a vbs file to help me reset
passwords for all the students. Just looking for anything little thing that
could help me a little bit more.
Thanks

But how would I do that without having to select each individual user and
clicking reset password.

Mitch, likely that means that the AD location
(CN=username,OU=x,OU=x,DC=local,DC=emmetsburg,DC=k12,DC=ia,DC=us) is
incorrect. If you have your students in different OUs (say, by the year
of graduation), then you will have to change the UserDN accordingly.
Another possible reason for that error
You can create a batch file and use this to reset passwords.
net user user_name new_password
I believe it is that simple. Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
