get the media or iso, you can still get a product key for it, though. I
could burn you an install DVD and send it to you, if you want.

If you are willing to do that, that would be great. I got a product key already
but I must have scratched my dvd somehow. But I just tried loading Vista also
and I get the same error message. So now I don't think it is Windows 7.

If it is happening on the same machine with 2 different disc, then it could
be a faulty CD-ROM or DVD-ROM. Possibly memory issues. Try a different DVD
reader, maybe an external one if you have one.
