I am asking other school districts who have deployed an effective 1:1 computing environment, are you running Windows devices, Macintosh devices, a mixture of both ??? How many devices are deployed? We are looking into this type of deployment and would like some insight from other districts.

We deployed all apple equipment and have inly one small lab for project lead the way with windows boxes in it. I have 380 student laptops in one building and about 24 teacher laptops in that building as well. We did the 1:1 with our 7-12 building. My elem is all apple too, 3 labs and 25 or so

We're entering our 5th year, with the second roll-out of new laptops this fall. We went with Lenovo laptops, the first go-around was with Gateway tablets. I wish I could say that the time just flew by, but there were too many lumps along the way. Listening to George, he's on the right
