Anyone with an Apple network:
I'm having a problem I haven't had for the last two years. Here's the
scenario:
I image up a laptop for a kid, enter his machine record (Ethernet MAC
address) into WGM and put that computer into the proper management
groups.Everything works dandy, laptop getting
So you give the loaner the same name as the students' machine that he just
turned in?

I have all loaners marked as (StuLoaner--) I don't change the computer name
to match so I can keep track of which machines are loaners.

Ah ok. Hmmm well I follow the same procedure. I or into WGM and change the
MAC address to match the new machine if it is a replacement. I have seen no
issues.
