[Interest] Qt4 Retina support

Hi, What is the current status of Retina support with Qt4? I found https://github.com/msorvig/qt4-hidpi, the bugreport and the plist suggestions - but it's not clear as to what one should do to fix the blurriness (and unsuitability) of apps. Can anyone recap the status of Retina support?
