Dennis,
Welcome our storms on the coast. You missed our doozy earlier in the
week with 86 MPH gusts. The wind is supposed to die down a bit tomorrow
but be back up with another storm tomorrow night. It will be wet and
windy for the next few days.
Good DX in the morning.

Listened during the 1000 ut hour and then 1330-1511 ut. Had the wire in the
water aimed NE.
Will change that this evening. Also had the twin ferrite aimed North.
Tomorrow results should be
improved if conditions stay the same.

Hello All,
Checked the band at 1430, and found conditions were mediocre at best,
with only the strongest JA powerhouses (594, 747, 774) having any audio at

Mike,
Are you sure it wasn`t on the other side of 1180, the 1181 mystery carrier
seemingly from Cuba? On my caradio it would be hard to tell which side.

Paul,
Both frequencies have promise for long haul DX. Any morse code or sweep
tones? Those really cut through the QRM and some tests using those have
been logged coast to coast.
I sure hope more stations join the bandwagon against IBOC.
