IRCA,
I used to buy, at Radio Shack, these single, mono ear buds that were foam
covered and much more comfortable then the plastic plug kind. It seems that
Radio Shack no longer carries these. I have hunted and hunted for them.
Does anyone know some place that still sells these?

Heard my first TP on the Sony SRF M37V this morning. Around 1513 JOUB 774 was
heard in the Den. Took the radio outside in the front yard and JOUB was fair
with very little splatter. Whats nice is that you can tilt the radio to null
out local dometic stations. Tried 1566, but HLAZ

Checked 650 and found Rush Limbaugh under local talker KSTE. KENI? No sign
of CISL. 650 and 850 faded up and down similarly. At 7 am local,

Dennis,
Congratulations on joining the Mighty Mite TP club! As you may have
discovered, these kind of contacts are somewhat more thrilling and memorable
than routine TP's. It seems like Colin is also on the verge of this exciting
accomplishment, so I'm very happy that my review has

I would think that any earbuds that work for stereo (FM) would work for mono

Just purchased the SRF-59 for Fred Meyer for $17.99. Came with the headphones.
These radios are so small that a person could mount one near their Kiwa loop
or on top of a Space Magnet antenna. The Terk AM loop seems to work the best
with the pocket radios that I use. Does not over

It is the process of tuning it.

Colin Gary,
That tuning really slows Dxing down. M37V has the digital tunning and is even
better since Gil explained how to set the channels for 9 Hz. My two Sony
