180 Russia, Radio Rossii weak at 1203 with man in Russian.
189 Russia, Radio Rossii fair at 1152 with man in Russian.

Got an English ID this morning on WPWA-1590 in Chester PA, which currently runs
Spanish Christian programming, using the "Radio Poder" slogan. The English ID
at 0800 ran "WWGB Indian Head-Washington and WBTK Richmond" but no mention of
WPWA. WWGB is on 1030 and WBTK is on 1380. I haven't chec

I have WNZF-Bunnell FL on 1550 at 2130 EDT with weather reports for Flagler
Country, "I'm Jerry Turner with WNZF" doing live remotes from a gas station,
county closings from Tropical Storm Fey. Good sig on the DT-200VX. I can't
hear it on the FRG-7 with my longwires yet the Ultralight DT-200VX
Hrd the new WNZF 1550 over in Flagler Co. FL a bit after 2300 local time
while on high power with Fay coverage, mention of phone lines open
at Flagler EOC, MOS interviews by YL at local Home Depot, people
on beach watching waves etc. QRM from Cuban, apparently
Rebelde, and whooper jammer. Signals w

Walt probably has his feet up, listening to tunes on Virgin Radio, but down
here it's just a weak carrier, but hey, it's the first time this season; pretty
darn early. No sign of anything else at present (just before 0430UT)

In a small way, I have to agree with John B.'s analysis at Grayland...it was
better than yesterday, but it sure wasn't Grayland. Still, except for raw
signal strength, a fair bit of interest. Listened on and off from 1230 to
1300UT, and conditions were spotty. Audio would rise in level briefl

Yes I have heard 234, once this season with very weak audio. Have never
heard the 227 (225?) that Walt heard this morning. Surgut Russia is a long
way away, doubt if I could hear that one.

When the upgrade occurs it will actually be 1600 kHz recording, not 1200.
This is because the sampling rate will be bumped up to 2000 kHz, thanks to
the new double rate core in the firmware in Perseus.
This will be handy to extend the coverage above the top of MW, in order to
catch those PN
