I had only a few minutes last night to roll through the band, looking for EBS stations for Hurricane Earl. 830 had a REL station competing with WCCO. They had a spot for joining the "Coffee Club,' including a musical "jingle" of the Percolator song (maybe the Ventures version). Cortland, OH again

David: No, most likely WTRU, Kennersville, NC, 50/10, DA-2, Rel.  I've heard `em on late w/day power a time or two and they are in the eastern part of the state so likely on for EBS,   When they are on full power late they blow WCCO away around here. 73 David --- On Fri, 9/3/10, HASCALL, DAVI

In an e mail to the President of KORC, Linc informed me that KORC should be up to 5 KW days by the Spring of 2011. It will be interesting to hear what their signal will be up on the North coast then. Depending on their ground conductivity up here too. Waldport is a lot closer than Coquille. Coquille is over 200 miles and Waldport is 115. KORC is listenable, but does have KGNW QRM. Rule of thumb is going from 1 KW to 5 KW should offer more than a 3 DB boost.3 DB will make quite a difference, especially with a null to the NE using the SW EWE. I do well with the coast of course being on the coast. I easily get the majority of the OR/WA stations. KURY is one exception, as they
