A Special Temporary Authority request filed just about 1 1/2 weeks ago
indicates WVNA-AM is running 2KW Day and knowing most Directional stations
WARR's website is nice:

At 1450, 1287 is at the loudest audio I've heard for some time, 774, 594 other
JJ big guns are at varying degrees of vigor. Seems to be a Japanese opening,
but an opening is an opening!

Listened from 1350-1415 UTC and at first not much was heard but around 1405 UTC
a few stations had audio. All audio and carriers were on the bottom part of
the band with carriers on 279, 558, 567, 585, 594, 666, 693, 747 and 774.
Audio was heard from 594-JOAK, 693-JOAB and 774-JOUB.

dial, and a bit less at the top. Japan with audio on 693,747, and 774,
along with traces from Korea on 972.

I have CONFIRMED that the station broadcasting with the tones on 1590 IS
NOT WVNA. They are broadcasting at only 200W with a temporary antenna and
can barely hear it locally let alone elsewhere.
Plus, I've been told... they havent been broadcasting any tones,
intententionally or unintentionally.
Did 1981 come back while I wasn't looking?
