I have noticed since getting the R8 back, the S Meter is more sensitive
to minor changes. I normally get local KSWB 840 at 9 miles at S9+38 days
(1KW) and S9+35 nights (500w). But at times depending on conditions, the
signal can drop or go up a bit. I have noticed anywhere from S9+32-35
(500w) to S

Does anyone have a good recommendation on wireless headphones for DXing (brand
and model)? I have a Drake R8 I'd like to use them with. The current (wired)
headphones that fit the R8 use a 1/4" phone plug. Thanks in advance. 73.

I see KKSN got their CP to change from DA2 5/5 to DA2 3.4/4.3. Early on
when they applied there was some question on their new pattern. Are they
moving to the 1080 site or building a new site? What will the new
pattern be? They have always had a super signal out here on the NW Coast
going back to t
I have Brooks 1340 heard & QSL'd, but I haven't caught Stettler 1400 as
yet. I wonder how many of the far Eastern BC GYers are still on? There
were a few of those I still needed, but most I have moved to FM.

This is definently a short-skip DX season. I logged a couple of South Americans
last week, but am concentrating on regionals at this new QTH. The new QTH is
