This morning was a bit of a sleeper, initially just a few of the big
gun Asians, but towards sunrise, both Asians and DUs popped up fairly
indiscriminately

Very little information available regarding station outages etc across the
Caribbean. One possible casualty might be ZBVI [780]. On line streams were dead
and Facebook contributions had stalled. Yesterday 6/9.
On Barbuda the storm has reportedly wiped out 90% of buildings
Detailed file review from last month's Rockwork 4 DXpedition continues to come
up with some big surprises.
Originally an S9-level R music signal on the wild frequency of 531 kHz at
1227 on 8-6 was attributed to the 5 kW Samoan language station PI, based on the
presence of Samoan language
This is what's fun about the empirical world. I'll set this up as
planned.check F/B and then record while moving the separation from "0" to 3
feet, and let you know what I learn.

Thx Mark, we'll learn something from this and hopefully that it doesn't
matter much. My models don't have the wires kissing since they are not
insulated in the models and will short out. In real life I try to not have
them kiss briefly with DKAZ etc, but they have and without issue.

You're correct that it was a good morning to sleep late. Only carriers signals
on 612, 702 and 1098 kHz were heard here.

Conditions are markedly down from yesterday. I listened from 1125 to 1234.
JOUB 774 produced the only discernible audio at around 1201, briefly making it
to fair quality with identifiable JJ with male speaking and musical interludes.
Asian oriented hets were heard on 594,
And, this morning made up for yesterday's lack of Asians. A few
suspect Zedders appeared among the Asians, and that seemed to be it..
