This one heard by me on Feb. 8 at 0955 EST with "For the high plains,
serving eastern New Mexico, this is 14-50 Cow Country" into Country music.
And also heard by local DXer John Wilkins recently mentioning "Albuquerque"
and same slogan. Anyone know who this is?

Great catches, Steve! "The Mighty 7-90" KGHL is strong here, too typically,
but the SE terminated loop nulls them out.

Oklahoma and Texas signals are doing real well though.

WABC was just logged here with a good signal. New state for this QTH! (I
heard this years ago from Pueblo). Also, Radio Rebelde, Cuba on 710 (2
stations? = echo effect) good over local KNUS. E/W condx seem good tonight.

Thanks for the article! I've got it half done (loop and transformer wound)
and will hopefully get the vertical finished sometime this weekend.

1090-KMXA now in at 0325 UTC with a HUGE signal here tonight with big IBOC
sidebands. They likely have their 50kW day power on as they are as strong as
850-KOA. They are not normally heard (if at all) here at night. Anyone else
hearing this?

I played your sound clip for 2 local DXers who were visiting today. We all
agreed it was KBRB Ainsworth.

Hi Paul,
On first pass my ears pick out the "K-Talk", "KTOQ" and "Rapid City" then a
mix of Fox and CNN news. The other station's (not KTOQ) audio is weak before
TOH. So, I couldn't pull any words out. Both stations are regular logs at
this QTH despite local KCFR.

I'm hearing music on 189 ranging from Jazz to a song by the BeeGees, now a
male vocalist at 0633 UTC. Very weak, but clear signal with slight HET on
the high side. Occasional lightning strikes (wonder where the T-storm is).
