Hi Jim,
radio-locator.com say's:
P.O. BOX 584

Odds are good that if it says no mail receptacle, it's a PO Box instead. If
it's been 'just' the PO Box for more than six months / a year (can't

checked a few splits earlier- 774
included and the LSB tone seemed strong but I didn't check it out any
further.

Hi All,
Heard a man giving an ID or slogan and I think I heard him say " 860... ...
The Coach". I checked out the KMVP website and it's the typical ESPN
site that doesn't say a thing about the station. Anyways, I don't have any
sports stations on 860 thus far. Ideas?

Got it. Nice couple of ID's after the BoH. Brief news, weather. Second ID

Thanks again, Doug

Thanks for posting this Willis. I don't hear this program too often and
caught what sounds like it. I got quite a hum on this freq. along with KLOK
SS and C2C- probably KFAQ. I QSL'd WWVA years ago while living in S. Calif.
It would be nice to catch it from here.

Hi Dennis,
T'is or T'was the Pineapple express or at least the most recent one was. We
had a record high on at least one date and record rain also.
My three HI catches are 650, 760 and 900. 760 was REL and 900 was Hawaiian
music. Don't know what they are now, but they stood out because of the
Thank you Mike,
I will keep at it. It's a decent signal so it should just be a matter of
listening.

Hi All,
I have it well here as might be expected at 2155ET. My first thoughts were:
oh heck, I never had verified WOAI, but the Spurs game seems to be coming in
fairly well so maybe I still have a chance. Wasn't there a point in time
not all that long ago when WOAI was the only station on 120
I missed this Mike, but thanks for the notice!!! KOMO's on now- of

Dennis,
I always used to like them but I can't say when they actually started to go
down hill. I'm not necessarily a Las Vegas fan, but I thought their studio
location was interesting in itself. I remember them playing the Dodgers
games. With the "alledged" format change, if nothing else, I'
This may be old news but it new to me:
720 KDWN officially news/talk now as is 1030 KDUN-ex CW music.
I remember talking with someone at the convention about KDWN and what sorry
shape they were in. They're a "huge" station in a big market place and they
were running the crummiest shows possible
Mike,
Good description of Santa Barbara. More specifically, is it rich drug
addicts or just rich hippies? hi.
Do sound the alarm if any of those stations are off (which I'm sure you
will). I don't believe I have EVER heard any of them off.

I started listening late - 0224 EDT / 2324 local and haven't heard a peep. I
heard the last test fairly well, but my "local" on 1240 seems to be the king
on the frequency tonight, as it usually is.

Hi Folks,
For those who get the DX Monitor bulletin in the mail, it will be a day late or
so due to some printshop delays. Also as a reminder, the next "Hard-Copy"
