The Zoom H2n may do this. See "Auto-Record"

Perhaps pose the question to their tech support to make sure auto-record can be
done via line-in and not just the built-in mic.Email:

These new series of DSP radios are interesting from another point of view, at

receivers (e.g. Drake): the Silicon Labs chips - the heart of these radios -
are designed and prototyped in Austin, TX. The production wafe
Gary,
According to the ebay description of the Tecsun PL-300WT (by the seller
"liypn"), this radio uses the Silicon Labs Si4737 DSP chip which can only

After this clarification from Eton, an extremely important question to answer
now becomes whether one should get the silver PL-300WT or the black one!

Hi,
This radio [Grundig G8] and all other models do not have a DSP chip. Let me

Well, we have to wait and see. I've sent an email to Eton asking whether the G8
includes the Silicon Labs DSP chip used in the PL-300WT.
As for other examples mentioned below, I doubt if the M400 is the Degen DE1123
without the MP3 player - more likely the M400 is just a faceflifted version of
I am very curious to know whether the Eton Grundig branded G8 is the same as
the Tecsun PL-300WT or not.
If you look closely at photos of the two radios, you will notice that some of
the labels/buttons are different, and of course the quoted weight/dimensions
are different too.
However I find
