I can only echo Nick’s comments Chris — what a great page. It’s going to take some time to explore all the things you’ve got here. And what a great resource for helping ID Asian MW stations! Looking forward to using it on some real, live DX soon! Thanks for your efforts! Bill Whitacre ---

The ’system’ Kaz uses is two wires of dis-similar length [ratio of ~ 1.3:1] spaced about an arms length apart. Works really well and can be surprisingly wide-band with a phaser. I used to use a 350’ & 500’ set in a park nearby. --- > On Dec 30, 2018, at 3:59 PM, Volodya S wrote: > > Chuck,

From the midwest you’re best bet is to ‘aim east’ and keep checking for the night or two when ‘Yankee Doodle’ is audible thru WCKY just prior to VOA’s 0300utc s/on. Good luck! Bill Whitacre Alexandria, VA --- > On Dec 19, 2018, at 4:37 PM, Mark Pettifor wrote: > > Trying to find an antenna

As long as we’re discussing Jaguar ... I always felt like I was DXing through a microscope with it. While other programs default to either a waterfall or peak-and-valley graph of a hunk of spectrum, Jaguar defaults to a microscopic view of the frequency you’re DXing. I have used both

I’d like to 2nd Nick’s comments Gary. There were a few times I thought of you there in Hawaii with a souped up portable radio and modest sized FSL and compared it to freezing my butt off in Maine trying to keep up two huge DKAZ antennas in a very unfriendly environment. Then I got under the

Thanks for running this Chuck and to Nick for making the results readable. I’ll repeat a request I made a few days ago - any chance of adding a column for 1MHz? My impression is that there is not a linear degradation in gain on the DKAZ but that it falls off more rapidly below 700 or 800 kHz.
