Received an email verifying my reception in 2 days from CE Bill Croghan. Said
they were running 900 watts. Only heard for 30 seconds so didn't expect a
verie. Just wanted to let the CE know I finally hear KRLV. Bill is very DXer
friendly. I think I have 5 veries from him.

I'm commenting on this late. Many DXers will try to hear a DX test but most
DXers today don't collect QSLs. So hearing a DX test is still a thrill for many
without the QSL. It's just the change in the broadcasting industry, no more
requirement for a Proof of Performance test. Most station are
Occupational Therapy. She does the therapy for accident and stroke patients.

My daughter lives in Kona. They have a noise problem there. Close power lines
and poor grounding. I have only heard the Hawaiians there but need a better
receiver and a wire. Will be interesting to read the reports on what is heard
there.

Congratulations Tim.
Michigan is a very good place for DXing. I was born there and listened from
1972-1983. I heard DE on a DX test on 900 kHz. Unfortunately DX Tests are gone
now.
Hope to read about #2500 in the future.

Nice Jim. I grew up in Lansing and remember the Grand Rapids stations. My old
log from 30+ years ago shows 1340 was WLAV. Glad to see they're sending out

Paul,
You should try the National Weather Service stations on 4125 kHz USB. I think
there are 6 stations in Alaska.
The USCG station in Kodiak (NOJ) has some voice broadcasts and several digital
