Sunday morning at about 0630 EST I heard a loud Black Gospel talker on
1370. It was a segment called "Pastor Call," where churches called in
with their schedules. Station phone numbers matched w/WGIV Gastonia,

Got one of my "most wanted" AM stations last night on the drive home from work-
WGCR-720, Pisgah Forest NC, at 1715 EST, with promos for election day coverage
in Western North Carolina, and nice, clear mentions of WGCR. I listen to their
webstream occasionally, so it's nice to finally hear them
Another new one (overall log) and I think that I am closing in on #100
in my ULR logbook, with maybe just THREE HOURS total DX time! Please
note that I consider my two Sony Cassette walkman (Walkmen? Walkpeople?)
to be ULR's for this excercise. This is my first station from
Saskatchewan added to
New log last night- WWOW, 1360 in Conneaut, Ohio at 2300 Eastern on Feb. 22,
with EWTN Catholic programming and "Walking on the Water" slogan along with
their ID. Best signal on frequency tonight. My 20th Ohio station.
