I'm getting quite strong Chinese language under KPUG during dawn enhancement
around 13:05 to past 13:11 and easy to copy under KPUG Bellingham which is just
a few miles from here. Possibilities include VOA Poro, or a domestic in CC, or
KJNP Alaska. Any ideas out there?
Walt,
VOA Poro gets out pretty well. I have not checked their schedule, but it
is common here in the Fall. Also Korea on 1170 is common.

Patrick,
Over recent years, I believe that KBS has instituted a policy of not
QSLing their domestic broadcasts. They have answered me very
promptly, tho', for the two KBS FS broadcasts (both to Japan) that
I've reported to them. The 1170 QSL was from 2006. WOW, I've got a
QSL that Patrick

So far I have not tried a report to KBS' JJ Service. I will have to give
it a shot. VOA Poro QSL'd easily a couple years back.

KBS's QSL policy.
As a matter of policy, KBS QSL's only their foreign service programs. In
most cases, a report for a domestic program gets trashed by the domestic
service personnel, or sent to the Foreign section where they trash it.
However, you might get lucky and your report ends up with

That's right, I never have sent a report to the 1170 FS. I think I have
it on cassette somewhere, but I missed that one. I missed WGY 810 for
years and years too. Back in the 90s, I finally sent a report and QSL'd
them. So once in a while one is lost in the cracks. hi.

When I was in Hong Kong several lifetimes ago, I taped 1170 and heard
KBS FS go from Korean to Chinese; accompanying it almost to the
second was Chinese jamming. I think the cassette was of interest to
them as I did get a QSL. About four years ago from here, I heard a
